So I've decided that the easiest way to tell you all about my trip is to keep it simple. (i.e. pictures)
Join Steve, Katrina, Joyce, Arlon, Steph, Carrie, Laszlo and Angela, Kim, Marshall, Evan, Kristine, and Natalie on a tour of the Western Carribean!!!
After boarding the boat and setting sail (er..motor) at ten PM, the crew woke up bright and early for an adventrous day at the US Virgin Island of St Thomas.
The girls all looked their best..
Steve and the boys
A gorgeous view...
There was of course..snorkeling. :)
Julian, the sock-rockin tour guide made the whole thing a thousand times better :)
Steve made friends with the group's tour guide, Kurt.
There was plenty of wildlife
Steph and Carrie, again
The crew did a bit of shopping in local marketplaces.
Last, but definitely not least, was the lovely, yet windy, Aruba.
But the swimming was spectacular
The parents had a good time, too
Joyce enjoyed the natural land bridge
Carre and Steph again, in the wind!
Natalie and Kristine, being cool
Quick! Get in the tour bus!
Look at this wall!
As with all cruises, there is plenty of food. Here's a bit of the cuisine served upon the fine ship Destiny.
Formal night was great. Everyone dressed up, ate lots, and danced the night away
As you've probably noticed, everyone is a bit of a clown. Here are some funny faces.
Leaving the sun, sand, and surf of all the islands was sad... as was leaving all the friends the group made on the cruise.
Jaime and Gordo
Many Puerto Rican Boys
Another Ben (From Alabama!)
After Debarking, the Jahnke and Beranek families split up. The Jahnkes flew to Augusta, while the Beraneks took a day to explore Viejo San Juan.
Carre looked pretty
As did the PuertoRican graffiti
Stephanie and the Totem Pole
And one last time... the sisters in SanJuan
Whew! You made it!
Don't you feel kind of like you took a trip just then?
Warning for the weak in bandwith... there are a lot lot lot of pictures.
